I belong to an amazing group. It’s called Women in the Spotlight Goinglobal. It’s an on-line networking group on Facebook designed to “Spotlight” Empower, Educate and Inspire Women to be the Architects of Change. This group was founded by a truly inspirational woman, Michelle Barron. Our mission is simple – we are dedicated to connecting, creating, building and fostering dynamic relationships while providing women with the tools necessary for professional development and personal growth. We have an annual brunch where we bring in a keynote speaker, honor and educate women…and of course have a fabulous meal! This year our keynote speaker was non other than Marshawn Evans. Reinvention Strategist™ Marshawn Evans is a former Miss America beauty queen turned Donald Trump Apprentice, turned Georgetown University trained sports & entertainment lawyer who equips the motivated to live without limits. She is Founder of ME Unlimited, a management consulting and performance strategy firm, and author of the bestselling book, SKIRTS in the Boardroom: A Woman’s Survival Guide to Success in Business & Life. She dropped some serious knowledge! The lightbulb went on for many, who are now implementing her teachings.
